There are various ways of getting to Ceriana.

We fly from one of the many English Airports direct to Nice and travel on to Ceriana by public transport.  That means taking a bus from the Airport to Nice SNCF Railway Station, a train to San Remo, possibly changing at Ventimiglia, and another bus or taxi to Ceriana.  This takes about 2 hours but the coast is so beautiful it is well worth it.  EasyJet offer cheap flights to Nice the cost depending on the time of year.  Easyjet

ThompsonFly now offer flights to Pisa during the summer months.  Travel to Ceriana by train, changing at Genoa.  ThompsonFly

Ryanair flies to Genoa Airport on the Eastern side of the Riviera.  A train journey direct to San Remo from there takes approximately 2 hours.  Ryanair

If you are not that keen on using public transport you could hire a car from any of the above airports and drive along the A10 motorway to Arma di Taggia and then take the SS5 to Ceriana.   Holiday Autos

You may decide to take a longer holiday and drive through France, sightseeing on the way to Italy.  When we took that option we did it over 2 days staying overnight in lovely B&B’s but we would suggest taking longer.  Following the motorways can be costly due to the tolls so maybe taking the A roads would be a better option.  Route Planner.

With Eurostar  traveling between London and Paris, it is now possible to go all the way to San Remo by train.  This would take around 12 hours but the journey could be broken along the way with a stay in France and would make an enjoyable extended holiday.
